Drawing made simple and fun with english alphabets and numbers

Welcome to the world of drawing made simple. If you know the english alphabet and numbers we will show how easy it can be drawing using letters.

Boat

This is Safe Boating Week, so remember the first rule of boating safety. Stay away from water. :-)

A boat is a watercraft designed to float , to provide passage across water.  The earliest boats have been predicted to be logboats.
Lets draw our own boat.

  • Start by writing a horizontal I.
  • At its two ends we write slanted Is , slanted towards the center of of the big I.
  • Write an upside down V on top of the big I.

  • Now write another long I at the center of V. Make this I long to extend beyond V.
  • To make flag we write small V at free end of I.
  • Write a lot of Us together to make water.  Color and we are done.
This is Safe Boating Week, so be extra careful at the lake.
Remember, with water so polluted these days, drowning can be really yucky.
And you can imagine what it does to your hair. :-)

Sail Boat 1

Always remember the first rule of water safety:
Whenever possible, stay on top of it. :-)

A sailboat or sailing boat is a boat propelled partly or entirely by sail. A sail is any type of surface intended to generate force by being placed in a wind—in essence a vertically-oriented wing. Sails are used in sailing.

Sailing is the art of controlling a boat with large foils called sails. By changing the rigging, rudder, and sometimes the keel or centre board, a sailor manages the force of the wind on the sails in order to change the direction and speed of a boat.

Lets draw sail boat. Get.. set.. sail..

  • Start by writing a flat C, write two tilted Is on either end.
  • Now write an upside down W, you can also think of it as two upside down U joined together.
  • Write an upside down V joining edges of first U.
  • Now write another upside down V starting at the free end of second U. Do not worry, if you cannot join the other end of V to end of U, let it end midway.
  • Write a number of U together for water.
  • Color and set sail.
Another rule of boat safety:
Never stand up in a boat. If you have to stand up, do it outside the boat. :-)

Happy Sailing !!

Sail Boat 2

Which Vegetable would you never want in Your Boat?
leek  :-)

Sailboats provide a means of skimming over its surface. Even when the water is frozen, iceboats (sailboats with runners or blades on the hull) can glide across the ice. The sailboat is a form of transportation, a type of recreation ranging from simple craft to the most elaborate racing yacht, and even a form of housing.

Lets draw sail boat

  • Start by writing a flat C.
  • Write an I at each end of C leaning towards the center of C. Oops I drew two of them, my bad.
  • Now we write two very flat C one behind other.
  • Join tips of both C with bent I.
  • Now we write small T, that is I of T extended a little bit.
  • Write V for flag.
  • Write a lot of U together for water.
  • Color and set sail.
By the way did you know:
In a crowded lake it may be dangerous swerving at high speeds to avoid hitting a fish.:-)

FIRE TRUCK

What did the fireman say when the church caught on fire?
“Holy smoke!” :-)

In early colonial times, bucket brigades were formed to put out fires. As towns grew, that became insufficient, and in 1678, the first engine company was founded in Boston. They used a manual pump, which had a small tank that was supplied with water by a bucket brigade. In 1736, Benjamin Franklin organized the first volunteer fire-fighting society.

Lets draw our very own fire truck.

Lets first learn to draw a star as we will need to put that in our truck.

  • Write an upside down V.
  • Join the edges with I.
  • Now write a V.
  • Join its edges with another I.
Our star is ready

  • Start by writing a turned around L or half T. Write  a long E right in the middle of L.
  • Write another turned around L.
  • Start making wheels by writing a 5 and then an upside down U.
  • Join the edges of 5 and U with I. Top the roof of this truck with 11 to start making siren.
  • Finish the back of this truck with I.
  • If you want your ladder to be long extend the bottom two lines of E a bit. Join the tips of 11 with I. Divide this in middle with another I.
  • Now lets make the door. Write 11 as shown.
  • Join tips of this 11 with I.Divide this door into two to make a window.
  • Also write a lot of Is joining the bottom two lines of E to finish making ladder.
  • Put a star on the door.
  • Write a big O and then a small O inside this big O to make one wheel. Make the second wheel exactly like the first one.
  • For front and rear lights we write C and turned around U.
Our fire truck is now ready !!

I hope our little fire captains Ryan and Jake Schuman will have a good time drawing their very own fire truck.

Why do firemen wear red suspenders?
To keep their pants up :-)

SHIP2

What do sea monsters eat?
Fish and ships! :-)

Let us talk about one of the world's most famous ship-Titanic. It took 3,000 men two years to build the Titanic. Three million rivets held its massive hull together. The price of a single first-class ticket was $4,700(equals $50,000 in today's economy). Now The Titanic lies 12,600 feet (over 2.33 miles) at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. It was rediscovered 74 years after it sank.

Let us draw a ship.

  • Start by writing a horizontal 11.
  • Top it with vertical 11 a little towards right side. Join tips with I . Write a smaller 11 on top of that . Join the tips with I again.

  • Write tilted Is on either side and connect to horizontal 11.
  • Make window by writing big O and a small O inside it. Make as many you like.
  • Divide the smallest 11 in middle with I.
  • Write a lot of Us together for water.
We are ready to sail again.

Do you know which ship never sinks?
Friendship :-).

SHIP

What do you call a ship that lies on the bottom of the ocean and shakes?
A nervous WRECK! :-)

A ship is a large vessel that floats on water. Ships are generally a lot bigger than boats based on size and cargo or passenger capacity. Ships may be found on lakes, seas and rivers and they are used for many activities including transportation of people and goods, fishing ,entertainment and warfare.

Let us draw an easy ship.
  • Start by writing a tilted V , the right arm of V longer than the left arm.
  • Write another tilted I on the opposite side of the smaller arm.
  • Join the tip of small I and long side of V with I. Ship's hull is ready.

  • Write 11 on top of this hull.
  • Join the edges with I and then write another 11 on top of it.
  • Join the tips of this 11 with I . Write another horizontal I in the middle of this small 11.

  • Write 11 and join the top and bottom tips with I to finish making windows. Make as many you like.
  • Write a number of Os in the hull to show life boats, or to indicate another set of windows.
  • Write a lot of us together to make water. Color. Your ship is ready for sailing.
By the way do you know what stories do the ship captain's children like to hear?
Ferry tales! ... :-)
